Student Legacy Projects

Over the past few years, Center for Tomorrow's Leaders has hosted over 1000 projects to address real needs in schools and communities across the state. CTL believes that students can activate change when they move from idea to impact. We are grateful for the support of CTL community mentors who assist in the project market research and implementation process. Students have several milestones throughout the school year to share their projects with a wider audience at the school and community level.

Below are standout projects from both our Ambassadors & Fellows high school programs throughout the years.

CTL Student Projects

Aloha, because we choose it.

I want to help people through what I'm good at, offering dignity and spreading smiles to those who need it most.

As the youth of Maui, our vision is to see an aware, alert, and attentive community that speaks out against human trafficking.

Every student deserves their moment, together, we will ensure that the young women of our community feel absolutely perfect come prom night!

As Waianae Seariders we will empower our kupuna with the ability to use technology effectively.

We wish to shed awareness on the mental health challenges that our student athletes face.

As our community's youth, we seek to better the livelihoods of families who are often left out of the conversation in Hawai’i due to language barriers.

Through peer mentorship, we took the initiative to support future high school freshmen.

We, the youthful, will help our Kupuna live comfortable lives through collecting community donations.

We intend on visiting different elementary schools in order to educate students in hopes to encourage a positive change, through short films that also relate to school standards.
