Topic:
Mental Health

School: Maui High School

Students: Chloe Garcia, Isabella Romero, Taimane Finau, Ty Ishikawa

We saw that mental health has been an issue in teens, especially among student athletes on their campus. To shed awareness, we interviewed student-athletes about their challenges and later compiled the responses into a mini documentary that’ll be shared with all athletic teams on campus. By doing this, the student-athletes were able to express their experiences with mental health and shared advice to others who may be facing the same issue.
