Topic: Technology Access for Kupuna School: Waianae High School Students: Melody Eli, Mariessa Gaison, Kristian-James Lito-Shaw, Serena Wond, Grey Uson A group of students partnered with Waianae Public Library to provided a service to the kupuna in there community to learn how to use technology. The library branch manager sought to create a program providing kupuna with one-on-one support to use technology and the internet effectively. Students went to the library once a week on Wednesdays with the guidance of their teacher, Mrs. Muranaka. Their vision for their project is “As Waianae Seariders we will empower our kupuna with the ability to use technology effectively." | ![]() |
